Richard E. Mooney
1974 veröffentlichte er sein Buch "Colony: Earth [2] (Abb. 1) in which he took the ancient astronaut theory to a new level, theorizing that humans were the offspring of an alien colony, and that a nuclear war happened thousands of years ago in pre-history.
"Mooney contends that Atlantis had been Minoan Crete and Santorini, and that the Biblical flood came earlier and was a different catastrophe to Atlantis. In his view, the Minoan civilization, along with other Bronze Age cultures, were mankind's attempt at rebuilding civilization thousands of years after this prehistoric war."
1975 veröffentlichte Mooney noch einen Nachfogeband, "[Gods of Air and Darkness]", über dessen Inhalt Tony O’Connell.
