Erster Aufruf zum Nuoviso-ABORA-Sommerfest 2024
(dg) Endlich ist es wieder soweit, unser NuoViso & Friends Sommerfest findet vom 15. - 18. August 2024 in der Pfännerhall Braunsbedra statt. Aufgrund des hohen Zuspruchs und vieler Nachfragen im letzten Jahr hängen wir dieses Mal noch einen Tag hinten dran, also vier statt drei Tage, in denen vor allem wieder das gesellige Zusammensein im Vordergrund steht. Neben Vorträgen werden es wieder Livemusik, Kino rund um die Uhr, Besichtigung des Geiseltalsees und der DILMUN S, gutes Essen & Trinken, und viel Zeit geben die NuoViso & Friends Crew kennenzulernen, Gespräche zu führen und Bilder zu machen.
Der Freitag (16.8.) und Samstag (17.8.) werden im Zeichen von ABORA stehen, bei der Ihr den wunderbaren Geiseltalsee und seine Umgebung kennenlernen könnt. Wer die Arbeit des Experimentalarchäologen Dr. Dominique Görlitz verfolgt und schon immer mal eines seiner Schilfboote in Aktion miterleben möchte, bekommt zum Sommerfest exklusiv die Gelegenheit dazu. Mit der DILMUN S geht Dominique mit seiner Crew raus auf den Geiseltalsee. Da das Schilfboot von der Größe leider nur die eigene Besatzung trägt, könnt Ihr diese aber in gemieteten Booten hautnah begleiten und sehen, wie ein echter Steinzeitsegler funktioniert. Schon letztes Jahr war es ein echtes Abenteuer, denn sowohl der große See als auch die Steinzeittechnik halten so einige Überraschungen bereit!
Während Eures Aufenthaltes könnt Ihr auch alle Ausstellungen in der Pfännerhall besuchen oder an einer Führung teilnehmen. Neben der Geschichte der Region und dem riesigen Alt-Elefanten, gibt es die Ausstellungen des ABORA-Projektes und die Himmelsscheibenausstellung].

Memories of our summer party 2023. When the summer weather is nice, the ABORA team will sail out onto the lake with guests for two days to show them the magical sailing characteristics of their Stone Age raft.
Vor, während und nach dem Kongress stehen den Eventbesuchern alle vier Dauerausstellungen kostenfrei zur Verfügung. Von ABORA und der Suche nach dem Eisen der Pharaonen bis hin zur Waldelefanten-ausstellung dürfen sich die Besucher frei bewegen. //
Before, during and after the congress, all four permanent exhibitions are available to event visitors free of charge. From ABORA and the search for the iron of the pharaohs to the forest elephant exhibition, visitors are free to move around.
First call for the NuoViso-ABORA summer festival 2024
It's finally that time again, our NuoViso & Friends summer festival will take place from August 15th to 18th, 2024 in the Pfännerhall Braunsbedra. Due to the high level of interest and many inquiries last year, we are adding an extra day this time, so four instead of three days, in which the focus will again be on socializing. In addition to lectures, there will again be live music, cinema around the clock, a tour of the Geiseltalsee and the DILMUN S, good food & drink, and plenty of time to get to know the NuoViso & Friends crew, have conversations and take pictures.
Friday (August 16th) and Saturday (August 17th) will be all about ABORA, where you can get to know the wonderful Geiseltalsee and its surroundings. Anyone, who likes the work of the experimental archaeologist Dr Dominique Görlitz, you can follow and one him on one of his reed boats in action, you will have an exclusive opportunity to do so at the summer festival. Dominique and his crew will be heading out onto the Geiseltalsee with the DILMUN S. Unfortunately, the reed boat is too big to carry its own crew, so you can accompany them up close in rented boats and see how a real Stone Age sailor works. Last year it was a real adventure, because both the large lake and the Stone Age technology have a few surprises in store!
During your stay you can also visit all the exhibitions in the Pfännerhall or take part in a guided tour. In addition to the history of the region and the huge old elephant, there are the exhibitions of the ABORA project and the sky disc exhibition.
